1. Who we are
This policy describes how Summit Garage Designs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you use sgd-coatings.mygarageestimate.com, request an instant estimate, upload a photo for a visualization, book an appointment, or contact us by phone, text, email or chat. Our website, estimate tool, messaging, calling and scheduling are provided by a software company, MG Digital Marketing LLC, which processes your information on our behalf and under our instructions and does not use it for its own marketing.
2. Information we collect
You provide: contact details (name, phone, email, property address or ZIP); project details (type of work, sizes, materials, timing, budget range); a photo you choose to upload for a visualization; your messages with us (texts, emails, chats, calls and voicemails, including conversations handled by an automated assistant); and appointment details.
Collected automatically: device and usage data (IP address, browser and device, pages viewed, links clicked, referrer, approximate location from IP); cookies and pixels (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags, the Meta pixel) to understand use and measure and deliver our advertising (Section 6).
3. How we use your information
To provide the estimate you requested and explain what it includes; to generate a visualization from your photo; to contact you about your project by phone, email, text and chat, including automated follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders; to schedule and perform estimates and installations; to send information about our products, services, promotions and financing, which you can opt out of any time; to ask for feedback, reviews and referrals; to operate, secure and improve our website and services; and to comply with law and enforce our terms.
Automated assistant. We may use an automated (AI) assistant to respond to texts, chats and calls. It identifies itself as an assistant at the start of a conversation and connects you with a person on request. It can make mistakes; a person confirms prices, appointments and commitments.
Recorded calls. Calls with us may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and record-keeping. Where a call is recorded you hear a notice at the start; if you do not want to be recorded, say so and we will continue by another channel.
Estimates and visualizations. Instant estimates are non-binding ranges. Visualizations are AI-generated illustrations, not a representation of the finished project, product availability or exact color.
4. Text messages
By submitting a form on our website with your mobile number, or by texting us, you agree to receive text messages from Summit Garage Designs about your project, including automated messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase; you can call us instead. Program details are in our Messaging Terms below. Reply STOP any time to stop, and HELP for help.
We do not share your mobile number or your texting consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Your number is shared only with the providers that deliver our messages and with wireless carriers as needed to deliver them.
5. How we share your information
With service providers that operate our website, estimate tool, messaging, calling, scheduling and customer records on our behalf: MG Digital Marketing LLC and the providers it uses (cloud hosting and databases, email delivery, text messaging and telephony carriers, call tracking, payment processing, spam filtering, and AI model providers that generate visualizations and power the automated assistant), which may use your information only to provide services to us. With advertising and analytics platforms (Google, Microsoft, Meta) through cookies and pixels, to measure our advertising and, where permitted, show you our ads elsewhere. With financing partners if you ask about financing, under their own policies. With professional advisors, law enforcement and others when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety. With a buyer or successor in a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our advertising cookies may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws; opt out as described in Section 6.
6. Cookies and your choices
Control cookies in your browser and opt out of interest-based ads through Google's Ads Settings, Meta's Ad Preferences and optout.aboutads.info. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing where the law requires. Blocking cookies may affect how our website works.
7. How long we keep your information
For as long as we have a relationship with you and as needed for the purposes above, and afterward as required for legal, accounting, warranty and dispute purposes. Records of your texting consent and opt-outs are kept for at least five years. If you ask us to delete your information we will, unless we must keep it.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy, to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of your information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact (720) 292-1663. We verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. To appeal a denial, reply to our response; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.
California residents. In the preceding twelve months we collected identifiers, contact and customer records, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, audio and electronic information (recorded calls and messages) and photos you upload; sources, purposes and recipients are above. We do not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of anyone under sixteen.
9. Security
We and our providers use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Children
Our website and services are for adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen.
11. Changes
The current version is always at sgd-coatings.mygarageestimate.com/privacy with its effective date.
